-==Head Student and Senior Prefect Applications 2020-21==
-The School is seeking to appoint a Head Boy, Head Girl, several Deputies and a number of Senior Prefects for 2020-21.
-The outgoing team invite interested students to apply by Friday 31 January 2020.
-Applicants are required to write a brief statement of no more than 300 words which must include the following information:
-.	The position you are interested in (Head Boy/Girl; Deputy Head Boy/Girl; Senior Prefect)
-.	Any unique qualities that make you suitable for the position you are applying for
-.	Contributions to the School and/or wider community (this can include other schools if you only joined BGS this academic year)
-Applicants may be considered for positions other than the role they specify.
-Selection for Senior Prefects will be based on the personal statement and staff feedback only. Selection for Head Boy/Girl and Deputy Head Boy/Girl will be based on the personal statement, staff feedback and an interview, if shortlisted.
-The Head Boy, Head Girl and Deputies have whole-school responsibilities. They lead the Senior Prefects and meet weekly with the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher (Pastoral). The Senior Prefects help with the smooth running of the School.
