Head Student and Senior Prefect Applications 2020-21
The School is seeking to appoint a Head Boy, Head Girl, several Deputies and a number of Senior Prefects for 2020-21.
The outgoing team invite interested students to apply by Friday 31 January 2020.
Applicants are required to write a brief statement of no more than 300 words which must include the following information:
1. The position you are interested in (Head Boy/Girl; Deputy Head Boy/Girl; Senior Prefect)
2. Any unique qualities that make you suitable for the position you are applying for
3. Contributions to the School and/or wider community (this can include other schools if you only joined BGS this academic year)
Applicants may be considered for positions other than the role they specify.
Selection for Senior Prefects will be based on the personal statement and staff feedback only. Selection for Head Boy/Girl and Deputy Head Boy/Girl will be based on the personal statement, staff feedback and an interview, if shortlisted.
The Head Boy, Head Girl and Deputies have whole-school responsibilities. They lead the Senior Prefects and meet weekly with the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher (Pastoral). The Senior Prefects help with the smooth running of the School.
Interested students should email their statement to headstudents by Friday 31 January 2020.
