Year 13: There will be a TEAMS broadcast on Wednesday and Thursday from Mrs Hawkins.
Reminders:
1. If you have a planned absence then please email [email protected] 48 hours in advance, and where applicable, provide a screen shot, scan or any appointment card.
2. Year 13 students need to see Mrs Hawkins in person if they wish to make a Careers appointment regarding UCAS or Post 18 options. Please do not contact Mrs Hawkins by email.

If you would like your students to join, please send them this link to join: https://secure.kinura.com/penguin/ and the broadcast will go live at 17:00pm on Tuesday 13th October. The link provides a secure platform for students to type in questions and this will be moderated by Penguin staff. Only the speakers are visible and have their microphones on as it is a one-way streamed broadcast.

Design your work life from Bill Burnett and Dave Evans
Bill and Dave are bestselling authors of the book; Designing Your Life and have also written, Designing Your Work Life which this talk focusses on. The book has a focus on how readers can organise themselves through journaling and design thinking.
Bill is Executive Director of the Design Program at Stanford University and Dave is lecturer in the Product Design Program at Stanford, a management consultant, and a co-founder of Electronic Arts. Bill and Dave discuss their big ideas, identifies key dysfunctional beliefs for young people, refer to important research findings on early adult success and lay out how to go forward to design your life and career.
