Student Notices w/c 11 Nov

  • A big thank you to all students that assisted with the Sixth Form Open Evening last week. Your efforts were greatly appreciated by all concerned.
  • A reminder to all students to tap in and out whenever they enter and leave School. Also please tap in if you have a non-contact lesson p4.
  • Caffeinated energy drinks should not be consumed in lessons or study periods please.
  • Please refrain from using bad language around school, especially around younger students.

Year 12

  • Tuesday: No Assembly or Lecture due to Year 11 Mock exams.
  • As various venues in School are being used for calendared events over the next few weeks, students in Year 12 will be allowed to come into School for their first taught lesson on Tuesday 12 November and Tuesday 19 November. Students need not be in School for normal registration and Period 1 on the dates mentioned. However, if students are reliant on buses that only get into School for 08:45 then they should arrive as normal and ensure that they tap in with their lanyards in the Sixth Form Centre.
  • Please update Unifrog regularly.

Year 13

  • Tuesday: Tutor Period for Year 13 students only.
  • Please draft Personal Statements and submit into Unifrog for your Tutors to read.
  • Please update Unifrog with your competencies, activities, interactions and Post 18 plans.
  • Please see Featured UCAS help pages under the Careers Section for help in writing your Personal Statements.
  • Log into UCAS and ensure all sections are completed. Follow procedures as set out in your UCAS booklet.
  • Please continue with UCAS applications. 73 sent off. Mrs Hawkins will get very busy as the term progresses. Please do not leave your application until the last minute. We wish to avoid a bottle neck in December.
