Student Notices w/c 11 Feb
- The Sixth Form Calendar indicates assemblies and lecture periods.
Year 12 and 13
- Please can all students check their MILK messages to find out when their Tutor or SPR meetings take place. SF Admin send you the appointments. Students should not be missing appointments due to driving lessons.
- A reminder if you are ill – please ask a parent to either complete the absence form on the contact page of the BGS website or ring in to school.
- Students must be using their lanyards to log in and out of the building at all times.
Year 12
- Tuesday: LT Assembly, Mr Brown. Please register with your tutor first.
- Tuesday: Year 12 Lecture, University of Leeds, p1, 09:15. How to choose a course/university + student finance.
- Please note that your Provisional UCAS Predicted Grade exams have moved to Monday 4 March to Monday 11 March. Student Review Day is on Friday 8 March, there are no exams this day.
- Year 12 Biology Trip to Cranedale, 3-6 February.
Year 13
- Wednesday 13 February, Mock Interview afternoon, re-arranged date.
- Year 13 Yearbook is now open. Please see MILK message from me on how to join.
A rota has been arranged to ensure that every student has a photo taken for the yearbook which will be used for their profile. These will be taken during the Tuesday Period 1 study:
- Tuesday 5th February – Forms E and F
- Tuesday 12th February – Forms G and H
- Photos will be taken in the corridor adjacent to SFC3 (Old Science Room). Students should register first for their supervised study and gather in the Sixth Form Centre. Whilst it is not a requirement, if students wish to bring in props to accompany them in the photo that is fine, however, we ask if you still wear Sixth Form Uniform.
- Prom payment is now open. Please do not forget to add your menu choices. Please see me if you require any dietary requirements
