Student Notices w/c 10 Dec

Year 12 and 13

  • Sixth Form Celebration Assemblies take place on Tuesday 11 December. Year 12: 08:55 – 09:25, Year 13 09:30-10.00. If you would like to contribute to the assembly by either singing, playing music, doing a sketch, reading a poem then please e-mail me. It would be nice to have a Christmas theme with some student participation.
  • Cover lessons for Sixth Form students. If a member of staff is absent the default position is that you attend your normal classroom. Students will be informed by MILK message if you need to go SFC2 or SFC3 for the cover lesson. Work will always be set by the class teacher which you must collect and complete.
  • Sixth Form Skills Passport – please complete and save relevant pages before tutor and SPR meetings. Please note that at the moment students can only save their Passports in school and not on FileCloud. Please work on Passports in school or e-mail sections home and then save in original Passport file in your own drive. Do not rename the Passport file.
  • Please can all students check their MILK messages to find out when their Tutor or SPR meetings take place. SF Admin send you the appointments. Students should not be missing appointments due to driving lessons.

Year 12

  • Tuesday: Tutor Period, please go to your normal tutor room at 08:50.
  • Tuesday: Year 12 Lecture, Mr Tighe, Hall, p1.
  • Wednesday: Enrichment afternoon. Programme will be sent out by SF Admin.

Year 13

  • Tuesday 4 December: Meeting for students interested in helping with the Prom, 08:55 in SFC2.
  • Wednesday 5 December: Meeting for students interested in helping with the Yearbook, 08:55 in SFC2.
  • Please can all students check their MILK messages for exam clashes. If you think you have a clash and have not received a MILK message from Mrs Cirino, then please can you contact her immediately. This is a double check that all clashes have been accounted for. AS certificates can be collected at break time on Monday.
  • Students need to continue working on UCAS, Unifrog or any other Post 18 research. If students are not planning to apply to university, then please see Mrs Hawkins. We need to track and record all Post-18 destinations.
  • 87 UCAS applications sent so far
