You need to be as professional as you can be by continuing to study by using the MILK platform.  Although we can't imagine this right now, we will eventually return to some kind of normality. We don't know exactly when that will be, but it will happen, and we must remember this because it gives all of us a reason to keep going and look forward to the future.

On a positive note, this unprecedented period provides an opportunity for using the time to develop yourself - learn a new skill such as cooking, read some books, watch some classic films rather than what you usually might watch, listen to interesting podcasts, complete an online course that interests you. Try to avoid letting the time slip away, so when someone asks, ‘What did you do during the closure?’ you have an interesting response. Year 12 take note – there are some super-curricular ideas in my recent MILK message to you sent 20 April.

Student Notices w/c 14 Sep

I do hope you are all keeping well and safe and are settling back into school life once again.

1. Please can Y12 students refrain from sitting on the chairs by the skip near the PE sheds.

2. Students have been respecting the bubble system really well – thank you. Please only access your own allotted toilets. Y13 students are the only year group to access the main toilets near the foyer.

3. If you have a cover lesson, please remain in your teaching room and in most cases the work will be MILK messaged to you.

4. Please remember to tap in and tap out at all times with your lanyards. We have software that checks this.

5. From Monday 14 September, you must not meet with people from other households socially in groups of more than 6. This will apply indoors and outdoors, including in private homes. Whilst this does not apply within the School grounds it does apply when you leave the site. This is particularly relevant to Sixth Form students who are permitted off-site during the School day. Also, please respect and show consideration to members of the public at all times.

If you have questions about anything then do email us, and we will try are best to help you.
