Student Notices w/c 24 June
- The Sixth Form Student Calendar indicates assemblies and important dates for the year.
Year 12
- UCAS APPLY 2020:You can register yourself onto the UCAS website and begin your application for university entry 2020. You need to go to UCAS.com and select SIGN IN, STUDENTS, UNDERGRADUATES, APPLY. Make sure that you select 2020 as the year of entry.Follow the REGISTER prompts.Please use the BUZZWORD BourneGrammar2020 to link yourself to School.Once you have done this you need to select a GROUP. This should be your tutor group (but with a 13 prefix).If you have any problems, then please see Mrs Hawkins.
- Please update Unifrog with your competencies, activities, interactions and Post 18 plans. Staff are currently writing Subject and Tutor references. Every student needs to register with Unifrog please regardless if they are planning on going to university or not. If you have not registered. https://www.unifrog.org Form Code is your form letter followed by bourne20. E.g. a student in 12D would register as ‘dbourne20’. Please use your school e-mail address and not your personal one.
- Tuesday 25 June: Reading Day for Year 12 students, apart from the Head Students and Senior Prefects.
- Interested in Teaching as a career? There will be a meeting on Wed 26 June, p5 in the Careers Hub from staff at Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln to discuss routes into teaching and the Pre-Teaching Award.
- Exam breakfasts will be available to Year 13 students in the SFC who have an exam in the morning. Year 12 students can purchase breakfast as normal from the SF Cafe or the Gecko.
- Students can now make careers appointments with Mrs Hawkins concerning Post 18 plans. These will operate until the end of this academic year. Please see Mrs Hawkins in person in the Careers Hub (green building, near Sports Hall, outside) or alternatively ask to see her at Reception.
Year 13
- Book Return Day is Friday 21 June 2019, 09:30-11:30. If you are not around on this day, please hand in your books to SF Admin after your last exam. A Book Return letter wiil be sent to you shortly.
- Yearbooks will also be given out on Friday 21 June. You will need to sign for your Yearbook as there was only an exact number ordered. If you would like a friend to collect one on your behalf then you must e-mail me in advance please. Alternatively, collect after this date.
- Prom, Friday 28 June, Greetham Valley Hotel, Wood Lane, Greetham, Oakham, Rutland LE15 7SN
- Photos will be taken from 18:45 at a cost of £10. Payment can be by card or cash. The photographs will be posted so you will need to provide the photographer with your home address.
- Arrival and Photos 18:45, Dinner 19:45, Disco and Bar until 00:00
- Remember to bring ID if you wish to purchase an alcoholic drink.
