Introduction

There are 2 parts to the process:

  1. You - the completion of the application form
  2. Staff - references, both subject and tutor, the checking processes and help that staff give

The Procedure

Once your application is completed to your satisfaction and your personal statement has been spell-checked thoroughly, you must then follow this procedure:

Schedule a Review Appointment with Mrs Hawkins

This can be done from the beginning of September.

  1. Before your meeting Mrs Hawkins will read through your personal statement, in order to give advice on changes and amendments, where necessary.
  2. During the meeting your application will be checked to ensure that you have completed all sections correctly and you will have an opportunity to read your references.
  3. Once you are happy that your application is as good as it can be, you will be asked to sign a form to confirm your agreement that your application may be sent to UCAS.

'Send to Referee' and payment

  1. Click the ‘review and send’ button and follow the payment procedure. Please pay on-line by card. If, for any reason, you are not able to do this then please let Mrs Hawkins know.
  2. Send to Referee' means that you have released your application to Mrs Hawkins – it has not yet gone to UCAS. Mrs Hawkins is the only person who can send it. However, you cannot make any further alterations unless you ask Mrs Hawkins to return it to you.

Send to UCAS

Mrs Hawkins will now send your application electronically to UCAS.
