Role

  1. Leads the Sixth Form
  2. Gives guidance on academic and pastoral matters
  3. Provides pastoral support if you are feeling low, anxious, unhappy, emotional, lonely, worried, stressed or unwell
  4. Supports the general emotional and physical wellbeing of our students
  5. Helps with study planning, revision and time management
  6. Gives permission for subject changes, has an overview of the curriculum in the Sixth Form
  7. Will drop into lessons and see you working and has a broad overview of your progress and success
  8. Supports students in deciding on their future pathways
  9. Wants to hear about any issues you have both positive and negative
  10. Deals with behaviour and lateness when needed
  11. Meets parents, if needed, to discuss academic progress
  12. Leads assemblies, tutorial, lecture and enrichment programmes
  13. Works closely with KS5 Progress Leader, EPQ coordinator, Careers, UCAS and Examinations Officer

Role

  1. Deals with attendance and absence including processing requests for longer absences (e.g. Open Days, work experience, leave of absence etc.) - Year 13
  2. Provide Pastoral support for any issues or concerns you may have and being point of contact for all students and staff in respect of all Sixth Form issues
  3. All matters of administration relating to the Sixth Form including booking appointments for the Head of Sixth Form
  4. Monitoring of Behaviour issues
  5. Administration of the 16 to 19 Bursary Fund
  6. Organisation and monitoring of SPR Meetings
  7. Supervise Year 13 Study periods
  8. Assists in the organisation of events such as SF Open Evening, Induction Day, Prom and Yearbook
  9. Manage Academic Support programme

Mrs C Everist Office - Sixth Form Administrator

  1. Oversees all Year 12 administrative matters: attendance, registers, absence and lanyards
  2. Supervises the Sixth Form Centre
  3. Supports HoSF with Enrichment Programme
  4. Provides pastoral support to Year 12 students
  5. Assists in the organisation of SF Open Evening and Induction Day
  6. Signs-out students throughout the school day

Mrs P Hawkins - Careers, UCAS and Examinations Officer

Role

  1. Supports and manages the UCAS application process
  2. Provides career planning support
  3. Supports students in finding apprenticeship opportunities
  4. Assists in securing work-related placements
  5. Helps with Post-18 planning/future career planning
  6. Supports the EPQ programme
  7. Examinations Officer
